Working towards an accessible Dalhousie!
The Student Accessibility Centre (Halifax) and the Student Success Centre (Truro) are Dalhousie鈥檚 centres of expertise on student access, inclusion, and accommodation support. We听work collaboratively with Dalhousie and King's students, faculty, and staff to create and sustain an inclusive educational environment for students. The Centre administers the university-wide Student Accommodation Policy听across all programs and faculties.
How we help:
- Facilitate access to Dalhousie courses and programs, facilities, services, and activities听
- Identify classroom, exam and other accommodations (e.g. co-op) to support your learning
- Ensure reasonable accommodations are available and implemented
- Support funding applications designated for students with disabilities
- Connect you with on- and off-campus resources to enhance your success and wellbeing
New to Dalhousie?
